row Creek is a place better defined by the individual who spends time there. The many adjectives used to describe the place would be different for all. What we at Crow Creek would like to impress upon those who come to visit is that our preserve has been developed over many years, if not a lifetime of bird hunting, by its owners. It is constantly evolving to bring new areas and experiences to our guests.
All of the preserve activity evolves around a unique and heartfelt cabin known as Philip's Place. This log cabin was originally built in the 1860's and was deserted for many years.
Bill Hall and his son Philip had always admired this place while hunting in the area. Then one day a promise was made to buy the cabin and restore it together. Shortly after, Philip was taken in an accident. The promise was kept by the father and now the cabin stands in honor of Philip Hall. Our guests arrive here and this is where the hunt begins. The cabin also serves as our location for our Southern quail dinners and as a socializing point after our hunt.
Customized Quail Hunts
We work with each group to make their hunt a personal experience. We have package opportunities for our corporate clients and for those wishing to hunt on certain dates for the day or half-day. We also offer skeet shooting, limited lodging, hunting packages, cleaned birds ready for travel and our Southern quail dinners. All of these can be made to fit your needs by reservation. Our guided hunts will be conducted by experienced guides who can accomodate the hunt with field transportation, dogs and ammunition if needed. |
