Oak Rodge Hunting Lodge, LLC, located in Southeast Alabama in Barbour County (a county known for its large popution of whitetailed deer and turkey) is a family owned and operated preserve that has managed wildlife for over 40 years... and is now open to the public for the first time. We offer a wide range of hunting experiences, specializing in whitetail deer and bobwhite quail. We also offer limited spring turkey hunts.
After deer season (January 31), the woods will be opened up to people who would like to try their luck at squirrel hunting.
There is a shooting range to test your rifle, if needed, and a small sporting clay course to warm up on before leaving on a quail hunt.
Our accomodations at Oak Ridge is a newly renovated Dog Trot Style house with private bedrooms and private bathrooms. The lodge is located on the banks of two fully stocked bass and bream ponds. Fishing is available year round (fishing tackle is furnished).
We also have for your enjoyment satellite television with a VCR.
Nourishment is something we take very seriously at Oak Ridge, so we offer southern cooking at its finest. Oak Ridge prepares three meals a day for overnight guests.
