Welcome to Lookout Creek Farm, a family owned and operated business. Robert Brown has been around the hunting and fishing business his whole life. His father ran an annual hunting and fishing club. His grandfather managed the farm for wildlife and timber before that.

Realizing hunters of today don't have the time or access for an annual club, it was agreed the future of hunting at Lookout Creek Farm would be conducted on a day to day basis. This led us to becoming a hunting preserve.

Lookout Creek Farm already offered deer, turkey, dove hunting, fishing and cabin rental for overnight accomodations. Once becoming a preserve, we added quail, pheasant, and chukker.

The epitome of southern hospitality, Robert, or Cub to everyone by the end of the day, takes great pride in raising his birds to be healthy and flight conditioned. Raised in outside flypens, the birds are used to all weather conditions. We strive to make your hunt memorable by making your hunt as close to wildbird hunting as possible. One might want to warm up on our wobble trap.

Being a good land steward has brought Lookout Creek Farm and Robert recognition from the Alabama Forestry Commission. We were selected as a Treasure Forest participant for outstanding achievement in multiple use management of forest land. Our goals as a Treasure Forest member are wildlife management, recreation, and timber production.

Lookout Creek Farm is nestled in the valley between Lookout Mountain and Sand Mountain in NE Alabama, 5 minutes off I-59. Our landscape is rolling hills, flat open fields, and pine plantation. We also have seven springfed lakes dotting the property. They are stocked with bass, bluegill, and shellcracker. Two of the seven have catfish.

After the purchase of Cub's grandmother's estate, Lookout Creek Farm was complete. It included a 5BR/2BA house and a pond. After some renovations, our lodge was open. We now can accomodate 12 hunters at a time in 4 different fields.

Both the cabin, the living room is over 200 years old, and lodge are fully furnished and will sleep 6 adults at the cabin and 13 at the lodge. After fishing, which is open all year, or hunting, one can relax on the porch of the cabin or the lodge and listen to the sounds of the bobwhite.
